Although less than a year has passed since arriving in Cairo in style, The Royal Maxim Palace Kempinski has already cemented its position as one of the best in the city – and you can look at any of its restaurants, nightlife events, spa facilities and more for proof of exactly that.

While all-year round it has come to be known as a hotel that caters to all tastes and leisurely pursuits, it's occasions that really give it a chance to shine – and with Eid Al Adha coming up, there are some mighty tasty-looking packages on offer.

This being the last public holiday of the year, the folk at The Palace have gone all out with two different packages, the first of which is a three-night bed and breakfast offer starting from 1699LE per night all-inclusive, which includes a scrumptious Buffet Breakfast at The State, access to a host of different children's activities and entertainment, the highlight of which is an epic, inflatable kingdom; The Little Prince & Princess Funland is open for all three days of Eid between noon and 8PM, with a Dolphin Slide, Bungee Run, Velcro Wall and Superman Sumo…Just a few of the activities rounding it all off.

In addition the kiddies will also get Eideya vouchers, which can be exchanged for some pretty nifty goodies at the Eideya Corner, all to the backdrop of live entertainment and a trademark festive atmosphere.

Package two, meanwhile, is half-board and starts at 2299LE per night all-inclusive, with all the above but with a lavish dinner at an outdoor, poolside set-up from the hotel's exciting Lebanese restaurant, Bab Al Qasr, which has emerged as a hotspot this year thanks to its mouth-watering BBQ station, several performances by belly-dancing star, Amie Sultan, and the unique experience it brings to quintessentially Oriental nights.

But you needn't book a room though to enjoy Bab Al Qasr's Eid nights at The Palace; you can still enjoy this special treat, with the perfect combination of live music, belly-dancing performances and some of the best Lebanese food you'll find in Cairo. You can also bask in the sunny poolside, where a cash bar and live food stations are at your beck and call.

So, if you're stuck in the capital over Eid, whether by choice or bad luck, The Palace has got it covered – top-notch food, awesome activities and a level of luxury you'll seldom find in Egypt.
