In Egypt and across the world, there's no denying that McDonald's stands as one of the biggest and most recognisable global brand names. Over the last decade or so, the burger and breakfast chain has undergone several small but significant changes, the latest of which is a dynamic new design for all its packaging.
Spearheaded by renowned branding agency, Boxer, the new designs for carry-out bags and fountain beverage cups have taken a simpler yet bolder approach. Using bold typography and bright colours, the new-look packaging has arrived in Egypt and the Middle East after debuting in the US in January.
Set to hit all outlets from October 15th, the update also marks a new mandate by the company to use only recycled or certified sources for its fibre-based packaging by 2020, as the company attempts to adapt into a modern, progressive burger company to meet its customers' expectations continues.
