Celebrating the genius of the late Japanese director Akira Kurosawa, the Artistic Creativity Center of Cairo Opera House and the Japan Foundation Cairo Office present screenings of two of the legendary filmmaker's works. 'Red Beard' (1965) tells the tale of a kind but ill-tempered doctor and his young intern in 19th century Japan. In a similar vein, 'Drunken Angel' (1948) follows the tumultuous relationship between an alcoholic doctor and a violent, ill gangster. Japanese with Arabic & English subtitles. Rated 16.
