Celebrating the genius of the late Japanese director Akira Kurosawa, the Artistic Creativity Center and the Japan Foundation Cairo Office present screenings of two of the legendary filmmaker's works. 'Th Idiot' (1951) tells of a disturbed war veteran whose mind turns to murder and revenge when he becomes the casualty of a love triangle. 'Rashômon' (1950) follows three different strands of one story, as three men recount a murder. Though their stories are similar, key contradictions reveal much more of the story.
