This September, the Fairmont Nile City Hotel hosted a back-to-school fun day for a group of children from the Children’s Cancer Hospital, Egypt 57357, and their families, in the hopes of adding a bit of fun to their daily routine.

Alongside nurses and social service personnel, the children were showered with gifts sponsored by the toy-store, Hamley’s, and participated in entertaining back-to-school activities organized by hotel staff. In line with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts sustainability promise, and in the spirit of giving back to the local community, Fairmont Nile City wanted to do its part in easing the lives of children in treatment as part of the hotel’s corporate social responsibility plan.

The Vice President of Operations for Accor Egypt and General Manager of Fairmont Nile City, Frank Naboulsi, and Hotel Manager, Magdi Gamil, even greeted the group from Hospital 57357, ensuring safety and health regulations were followed. Both applauded the facility for its high-quality medical care, specifically aimed towards children with cancer — no small feat, amidst COVID-19.
