From 29 June to 11 September, Mashrabia Gallery presents “Echoes and Currents: 35 Years of Contemporary Art”—a group exhibition that traces the gallery’s pivotal presence in Cairo’s art scene.

Curated by the gallery’s director, the show brings together a selection of artworks by both emerging and established artists who have shaped Mashrabia’s evolving legacy. Far from a traditional retrospective, the exhibition acts as a living archive—reflecting on the relationships, conversations, and creative energies that have defined the space over the decades.
