Toqa Hossam, a BookTokker, started an in-person book club. What makes this book club unique is that you don’t need to register or provide any information. You just read the book and show up on the designated date. In her TikTok video, Toqa says you don’t even have to read the book! This month, the book was La Anam by Ihsan Abdel Quddous. The book club was held on the 25th of July at La Maison Tre13e.

An account on TikTok and Instagram called Sisters Who Draw is calling all art girls in Cairo. The idea is to agree on a place to gather where girls can make art. It’s not a workshop or a business idea; it’s simply a safe space where girls gather up to create art and vibe. There isn’t a set date yet, but make sure to follow them to stay updated.
