El Fan Medan Festival in Abdeen Square

Fan Medan is a national music event that takes place in six different Egypt
cities at the same time: Cairo, Alexandria, Asyout, Port Said, Suez and Luxor.
Various cultural activities will take place including music performances from Massar
Egbary, The Choir Project, Teatro, Taxi, El Nil Troupe, El
Banadra, Sandouk Khashab, Ahwa Sada and El Share3, as well as
puppet shows, short-film screenings and art
workshops. El Fan Medan’s goal is to keep the spirit of change and innovation
going post-January 25th. To participate or volunteer for El Fan Midan, contact
