D-CAF Festival: All Night Cinema – Contemporary West African Screenings at Radio Cinema
From 10PM until the early hours, a selection of contemporary West African films will be showcased at Radio Cinema. Phillippe Lacote curates a trio of films in which young directors offer their take on modern West Africa; ‘Burn it up Djassa’ (2012) by director Lonesome Solo, ‘Boul Fallé, the Way of Fight’ (2009) from Rama Thlaw, and ‘Hope Travels’ (2011) by Michel Zongo. Films will be shown with either French and Arabic, or English and Arabic subtitles, and are accompanied by complimentary tea and coffee. Attendance is free.
