Caravan Festival: Opening Night at St. John’s Church
Back for 2013, the Caravan Festival is built on the premise of mutual understanding and tolerance between the east and west, Christians and Muslims, via public, artistic expression. This year, the festival has taken 90 fibreglass donkeys and commissioned 45 artists to paint them. This evening, after some opening words, these pieces of donkey-art will be put on display and are for sale, with proceeds going to interfaith charities. Attendance is free.
