Taking over Maq’ad Al Sultan Qaitbay on Saturday the 20th, the art exhibition by the renowned visual artist Mohamed Abla, a prominent Egyptian artist celebrated for his abstract depictions of Egyptian landscapes, features his paintings capturing the amalgamation of ancient charm and modern buzz in the magical city of Cairo. In one of Abla’s many solo exhibitions, glimpse his artistic soul by immersing yourself in the lively chaos, following the vibrant hues as your guide, and unveiling the enchanting magic woven into the tapestry of tales that represents life in the Egyptian capital. Introducing you to different perspectives about Cairo, the exhibition is a chance to fall back in love with the city!

Abla began his career with a seven-year European voyage, starting in 1978, marking the beginning of Abla’s remarkable journey with art, with solo exhibitions in Germany and Vienna. His artistic journey continued with studies in Graphics and Sculpture at the Arts and Industries College in Zurich and Graphic Studies in Austria. He only returned to his roots in 2007 to found The Fayoum Art Center, an inspirational space by Lake Qarun in Fayoum, fostering artistic community amid Egypt’s breathtaking landscapes and home to many of the region’s renowned artists.
