Are you feeling good about today? Are you glad about what a wonderful world you’re living in? Does a new romance have you living la vie en rose? Perhaps you’re in for an unforgettable time as the tenth edition of Cairo International Jazz Festival is afoot.

Around nine years ago, we witnessed the birth of the Cairo International Jazz Festival bringing together jazz bands from all over the world. It was the start of a wonderful tradition that would see jazz enthusiasts enjoy a few days of all-jazz music, courtesy of global talents showcasing their talents on centre stage.

This upcoming October, starting on the 11^th, with four days of jazz music in 17 musical concerts, the Cairo International Jazz Festival is set to take place. Enjoy music from 90 brilliant artists coming from 14 different countries. Foreign countries like Holland, Austria, Japan, Germany, and Portugal are sending in their jazz artists, while Arab jazz musicians from Syria, Jordan, and of course, Egypt are taking to the stage as well.

So this is how it goes, the performances are unlike what any of the bands or solo singers have done before. Bands and solo artists are mixed and matched, then tasked with collaborating on a performance of a mix of their original songs using different elements from other performers. This year, you’ll get to witness huge talents such as Jerome Klein and his quartet.
