For a long time, Egypt has attracted a number of reputable international bands and artists, and we’re not about to stop now. This week, you can listen to the lovely contemporary music of Ensemble Mosaik, at Umm Kulthum Museum this Monday (April 23rd, 2018) at 8 pm.
This comes as a part of Cairo’s Contemporary Music Days (The Sixth Edition) which runs between the 14th and 28th of April and is organised by the Egyptian European Association for Arab Music. You can expect Ensemble Mosaik’s live performance to be as creative as it is unique. Their quirky combination of diversely skilled musicians, along with their creative mindset and an inclination to experiment, helps them produce the most unique of sounds.
Ensemble Mosaik was founded in 1997, and the German band have since then been experimenting with music, always producing something totally different. They are considered as one of the top European musical bands in contemporary music.
