This weekend, Egypt’s young creative and entrepreneurial minds will gather for the long-awaited event: Shababco! Taking place on the 18th and 19th of November at Walk of Cairo in Sheikh Zayed, Shababco’s goal is to present the works and productivity of local creators across artistic fields.
The platform acts as a means for creative youth to get exposure and showcase their hard work! Shababco will now feature 80 brands, 20 artists, 20 performers and one headliner. Unfortunately, there is limited space but if you’re an artist or brand, feel free to see if you can still sign up. The good news is that tickets can still be bought last minute, either online or in person at Tradeline Sodic WestownHUB, Tradeline Zamalek, Tradeline WOC, Tradeline Arkan, and Tradeline Point 90. Any more questions about Shababco can be directed to +2011 2144 0080 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
This marks the 5th Edition of Shababco, so while expectations are running high, it seems that the organisers will not disappoint! Check out the amazing scheduled line-up for the event, with performances from figures like Issa & Assouad, Lella Fadda, Flex, and Amira Adeeb. Make sure to follow their page to stay updated!
Aside from being an incredible opportunity to watch your favourite artists take to the stage (or discover a new favourite!), the on-site bazaar is not to be underestimated. Eighty brands will be there with the best of their products, featuring retailers like Aesthere, Xiz, and Itzala Eyewear and self-care brands like Locken, making for a great sustainable shopping spree. Also, if previous years are any indication, Shababco’s showcasing of local artists’ work is beyond impressive, making this an opportune moment for art lovers to discover some new pieces.
Overall, if you have any appreciation for artistic creations, then attending Shababco is a must! Be it the music, products, or performances, it’s a fantastic chance to engage with what the best of Egypt’s creative youth has to offer, so make sure not to miss it!
