The play is about El Fakharany, playing the role of a beggar, who roams the streets with his daughter and her beautiful voice. At the time, the king’s heir takes control after his father’s death. The young heir (Mohamed Mohsen) and El Fakharany’s daughter (Heba Magdy) fall in love without her knowing his true identity.

The play is quite entertaining and features excellent decorations, brilliant acting, and beautiful songs. Also starring Lotfy Labib, Diaa Abdelkhaleq, and Salma Ghareeb, the play garnered a lot of popularity in its previous showings in 2015, and earned an unprecedented amount of 7 million Egyptian pounds for the National Theatre.
