The nominees for the 92^nd Academy Awards were announced on Monday by actors and producers, John Cho and Issa Rae in a two-part live presentation. The Oscars is the most anticipated award show for cinema, and just in case you were curious to find out who made it to the list, here’s the breakdown…

Joker receives the most nominations with 11, which range from Best Picture; Best Actor for Joaquin Phoenix; Best Director for Todd Phillips; Best Cinematography for Lawrence Sher; Best Costume Design for Mark Bridges; Best Film Editing for Jeff Groth; Best Makeup and Hairstyling for Nicki Ledermann and Kay Georgiou; Best Original Score for Hildur Guðnadóttir; Best Sound Editing for Alan Robert Murray; to Best Sound Mixing for Tom Ozanich, Dean Zupancic and Tod Maitland, and Best Screenplay for Todd Phillips and Scott Silver.

The Irishman, 1917, and Once Upon a Time… In Hollywood each received 10 nominations, while Jojo Rabbit, Little Women, Marriage Story, and Parasite received six. The award ceremony will air live on Sunday, the 9^th of February, on ABC, and it will also be televised in over 225 countries around the globe.
