We felt the sun on our skin the other day, and we couldn’t believe that spring is finally here. We have sure missed walking around without the cold wind ruining our hair and without having to wear 4 or 5 layers to stay warm. This weekend the weather is also expected to be good to us, so let us tell you how you can make use of it by exploring all the fun events that are happening.

Arts & Culture:

Thursday

Mohamed Khaled Omran’s Exhibition at Ubuntu Art Gallery

No, you haven’t been looking at too many Party Ape Billionaire Club NFTs; this exhibit really is all about monkeys. Mohamed Khaled is known for being a visual artist who captivates spectators with new ideas and intriguing concepts.

The exhibition runs daily from 11 am – 8 pm starting the 16th of February until the 8th of March, except Sundays.

“The Girls Windows III” Exhibition at Ubuntu Art Gallery

The third edition of “The Girls Windows” here is to display more masterpieces by more outstanding female artists. Come and support Rana Samir, Fatma Mostafa, and Mariam Soliman as they get a chance to show their true raw talents.

Umm Kulthum at El Sawy Culturewheel

If you still haven’t been to one of the Umm Kulthum puppet tributes yet, then this is your chance to enjoy this fun and interesting event. All the songs you have grown to love will be played at the concert, the only difference is that Umm Kulthum and her band will be puppets controlled by strings.

This is your chance to be face to face with his newest collection of artwork, “Laugh, Play, Serious & Love”. Get ready to be mesmerised by his talent and fun depiction of Egyptian cultural figures.

The exhibition runs daily from the 28th of February until the 12th of March from 11 am – 9 pm, except Sundays.

Ahmed Lesi Exhibition at Mashrabia Gallery of Contemporary Art

This exhibition is a must-see as Ahmed Lesi has taken this opportunity to reflect on ideas of narcissism and self-absorption and portray them in distinguished masterpieces. “All Eyes on Me” will leave you thinking more and more about the human psyche.
