Sweets deserve sweet talk, because dessert always lifts the mood! That’s why, at Cairo 360, some of our favourite things to review are desserts and coffee. When the two come together, it’s pure joy and love in every sip and bite. This time, we visited Pancakes café in Sheikh Zayed, Dahshour Linking Road. Here’s our honest take on the experience.

Calm, Quiet and Cosy

It’s very calm with classic décor dominated by white tones. The menu is a bit limited, but the staff were very helpful, explaining everything and making friendly suggestions in a kind and relaxed manner. There’s also a lovely outdoor area facing the road, which is quieter in the evening. The indoor seating is great for those who prefer air conditioning and want to avoid street noise.

A Well-Balanced Menu

We tried the mini pancakes, ordering half with chocolate and half with pistachio, priced at EGP 190. We’d say they were decent. If you’re a die-hard mini pancake fan, they may not blow you away. However, we have to say the quality of ingredients was excellent; each bite had a distinct, authentic flavour.

As for drinks, we tried the Iced Spanish Latte for EGP 85 and genuinely loved it. The flavour was well-balanced, the price was reasonable, and we’d say it offers real value for money. We also tried the classic cappuccino, and to put it simply, it was as excellent as can be! We’re cappuccino lovers, especially when it has that espresso kick. Not every place gets it right, but this one definitely did.
