Going out with children is a hassle, but some places seem to make it much easier. So if you’re looking for some family fun with your little hellions, check out these 9 spots in Cairo for the perfect family outing.

The perfect mixture between having fun and learning something. Your kids will get to try out games showcasing different future career paths, all in a safe and fun environment. As for the grown-ups, you can enjoy a relaxing time at any of Cairo Festival City’s offerings. It’s open from 11am to 4pm, and from 5pm to 10pm.

Dream Park

What better way for kids to have fun than a theme park. This is Cairo’s best offering when it comes to roller coasters and such, and will surely be a great day for you and your kids. Dream Park is in Sixth of October and is open from 10am to 10pm.

Family Land

This is one of the biggest enclosed theme parks in Egypt and has games that will be great fun for kids, and great nostalgia for adults. You can find it in Maadi behind Othman Towers, and it’s open from 10:30am to midnight.

Gero Land

While it may not be as huge and glamorous as Dream Park, it’s certainly one of the best theme parks in Cairo with a lot of fun games for kids. You can find it in Obour City, and it’s open from 10am to 10pm.

Billy Beez

Imagine a whole theme park created just for kids. Billy Beez invites kids to enjoy ultimate fun through the many games it has in this enclosed park. You can find it in Sheikh Zayed’s Mall of Arabia and is open from 10am to 10pm.

Magic Planet

Al-Azhar Park

If you’re looking for some relaxing time with the family, this is the perfect place. Kids can run around as they wish in the wide greenery of the park, while adults can camp right on the grass, or enjoy food at the many restaurants in Al-Azhar Park. It’s on Salah Salem Street and is open from 10am to 10pm.

Aqua Park

Water=fun, and this is 100% true at Aqua Park. One of the biggest water parks in the whole of the Middle East, it has beaches, five pools, and a ton of water games. You can find it on Misr-Ismailia Road and is open from 10am to 5pm.

Crazy Water

Right at the start of Sheikh Zayed, located very close to Hyper Market, this water park has a whole lot of water games and slides for kids to go crazy. It’s open every day from 10am to 6pm, tickets are 65 EGP, and children under the age of 3 are free.
