Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at The First Residence’s staple Ramadan tent, La Gourmandise, has been an all-time favourite Iftar and Sohour spot for many Cairenes. It’s always been the place where food and entertainment come in a wrap of opulence and warmth fused with Four Seasons hospitality and service.

This Ramadan, La Gourmandise brings back the whole lot, offering an Iftar buffet at the price of LE 550 per guest. The buffet gathers a variety of homemade Egyptian classics and several food stations, including carving, mulukhiyah and shawarma stations, in addition to others dedicated solely to kunafa.

“We pride ourselves as culinary creators; every year we like to be different and add our personal influences to the buffet and not just present traditional food that locals could experience anywhere,” says Ahmed El Sayed, La Gourmandise Chef. As for Sohour, guests can feast on a buffet featuring delicacies masterly crafted with a Four Seasons twist.

La Gourmandise also prides itself on having a vast selection of shisha flavours that you can enjoy while listening to live oriental music taking to the stage every night. It goes without saying that a wide range of oriental desserts are available for takeaway orders.

As for Sohour, the tent hosts a buffet that boasts an array of local favorites, such as foul (fava beans) and falafel, in addition to live cooking stations, where the food is freshly prepared right in front of you. Needless to say, La Gourmandise’s Sohour includes a selection of classic Ramadan drinks and desserts, as well as live entertainment options every weekend.

With a colourful spectrum of Syrian delicacies that come with the Ramadan drink of your choice, Aura offers a special family style Iftar set menu at the price of LE 550 per guest. The restaurant also serves an à la carte Sohour in a lively ambience that sees an oriental band taking to the stage every evening, and Aura’s team will be more than glad to to tailor a special set menu for larger groups.

The above prices are in Egyptian pounds and are subject to service charge and applicable taxes. For more information and reservations at La Gourmandise and Aura call +202-35672019.
