The Basketball Africa League (BAL) is finally underway for its 2024 tournament! With the Nile Conference group phase having kicked off on Friday, April 19th, right here in Cairo, basketball enthusiasts can expect much to enjoy on top of great sportsmanship! Expect to see your favourite musicians taking the arena for memorable performances that will take the experience to a whole new level. Between Esseily, Sharmoofers, Abu, Shakosh, Disco Misr, and Brass Sound Band, the Nile Conference phase, which will go on until April 27th, is expected to be an absolute hit!

With these incredible headliners taking the stage between the Fan Zone and the Hassan Mostafa Indoor Sports Complex, the Fan Zone (located in the Hassan Mostafa Indoor Sports Complex parking lot) will be open to fans and visitors on game days from 2 pm to 8:30 pm. It will offer much more than musical performances, as many activities for adults and kids alike await attendees. From 3-on-3 basketball games to food trucks, this is an experience you simply don’t want to miss.

Inside the arena, however, is where all the excitement is set to take place. With pre-game and halftime performances by our favourite artists, dancers, fire throwers, hula-hoopers, dunk teams, and dancing mascots, the arena is going to be on fire. Brass Sound Band will take the stage on Monday, April 22nd, followed by Disco Misr on the 24th, Abu on the 26th, and last but definitely not least, superstar Esseily will close the opening weekend with a halftime performance during the second game on Saturday, April 27th.

Fans can save up to 35% off single-game ticket prices for group packages by emailing BalTickets@thebal.com, and up to 20% off tournament pass tickets during the Nile Conference group phase by selecting two, four, or all games.
