The first weekend of December is here, and whether that week flew by or took its sweet time, we’re finally at the point where we can relax, let loose, and just have some fun. So if you’re looking to plan an intense weekend or just hit your favourite spot, we’ve got all the juice on what’s going on this weekend in the capital.

Thursday kicks off with a lot of options around town. You can chill at Bella Figura with DJ Mimovitch rocking Mashup Thursday, or you can go for an oriental night at Gu Lounge with Hassan El Kholaky. DJ AYN is lighting up the house together with DJ ABD at The Tap West, and at CJC you can enjoy homegrown music thanks to Pulse, Dirty Backseat, and Cap’n Hector’s Crew.

For a more cultural evening, hit Cairo Opera House to enjoy Verdi’s classic masterpiece, Aida, in the Main Hall. You can also hit the gallery of your choice, be it ‘My Heart’s Desire’ at Picasso Gallery, ‘Gypsum Museum’, by Hany Rashed at Mashrabia Gallery, or ‘Chaotic Beauty’ at Safar Khan Gallery.

After a good night’s sleep, it’s time for a sleepless Friday. Party all night at The Tap East with DJ Ayman Nageeb for quite a special night. You can also hit CJC 610 for a Block Party with DJ Feedo playing the hottest hip-hop tracks. For something more oriental, you can either party hard at OPIA Cairo’s Tabla Night with Mostafa Taha, or enjoy the beautiful voice of superstar Assala at The Marquee.

For a unique experience, you can hit RiseUp Summit at The Greek Campus and AUC Tahrir Campus for a fun and highly educational event on entrepreneurship in the MENA region. Otherwise you can start your partying in the afternoon at The Tap West with their Friday brunch along the acoustic tunes of Omar & Hany. For a musical night, hit Grand Nile Tower for their Grand Experience in collaboration with Room Art Space featuring Estabena with their Mediterranean music, followed by Do’souka’s unique style of music.

You can also start your Saturday with food at CJC 610, and indulge in their delicious brunch menu along with music courtesy of AWE and Arrab. Or hit the other CJC in Mohandeseen for a musical night courtesy of Alexandria-based band RT Nuba, followed by Mazeek playing a blend of different mixes. And if you’re in the mood for something more relaxing, you can always go to the Cairo Art Fair IV at Arts-Mart to enjoy a host of stunning artworks by various Egyptian artists.

Finish off your Saturday by partying with two of the hottest DJs in town at 24K, as DJ Feedo and DJ Soul M take over the decks all night long. For a bit of funk, join Sewwes at The Tap Maadi with his Funktion of Funk night, or join DJ Kashouty at The Tap East for some hot pop hits.

BONUS PICK: If you didn’t get the chance to party hard over the weekend, the RiseUp Summit After-Party, hosted by Mindsalike, is happening this Sunday night! The event is the hottest ticket in town, with its bringing together of Cairo’s hottest entrepreneurs and investors at SASS Restaurant & Bar.

That’s just the tip of the iceberg, check the Cairo 360 Events page for more things to do and places to go this weekend.
