The weather has been very unkind this week, but it seems like luck will be on our side during the weekend; the temperatures are set to be higher, which will work well for all the plans we are making. No plans? Worry not, check some of what Cairo’s offering for the weekend, and get going.

Thursday sees local comedian Mohammed Heniedy returning to the stage for a performance called 3 Ayam X Sahel at Media City’s Movenpick Hotel. As for movie screenings, Dawar hosts Tarsem Singh’s 2006 Fantasy Drama, The Fall, while Cima screens Peter Farrelly’s Golden Globe Award Winner comedy-drama, Green Book.

When it comes to music events, El Kaff El Aswany take to the stage for a round of Nubian tunes at El Dammah Theatre, Janan play Arabic pop/rock songs at ROOM Art Space, and Mazziga present a number of Oriental fusion beats at El Sawy Culturewheel’s River Hall.
