Cairo is ready for another busy weekend, full of all types of entertainment that everyone is sure to find something to please them. Here’s a glimpse of what the city has to offer:

Thursday sees a couple of Nubian nights taking place at Darb 1718 courtesy of RT Nuba, and at El Dammah Theater, where Nubanour are in charge of music. More unique beats to come with The Gypsy Jazz Project playing a variety of tunes at ROOM Art Space, while it’s a Sufi night at El SawyCulturewheel, where local band El Hadra take to the stage for a variety of religious tunes.

Elsewhere, Armen V plays a round of house tunes at The Tap Maadi, DJ Anis spins some pop hits before Motherfunkers finish the night with some funky beats at The Tap East, while The Tap West’s electronic night welcomes a lineup of DJs Al Sharif, Mizology, and Ouzzo&Sebbz.

And as Cairo Jazz Club 610 welcomes Tahawy,  Mohasseb, and Heavy Pins to take to the decks for a massive house night, Cairo Jazz in Mohandiseen sees a rock night where Cap’n Hector’s Crewtake to the stage, followed by Hashem and Foda, who will be spinning some indie and synth-pop-rock numbersback to back.

As for Friday, Mohammed Mounir sings various hits on the stage at the Family Park, local band Al Safy take to Bedayat’s Stage for an Arabic rock night, while Tarek El Tohamy celebrates the launch of his latest album with an acoustic country&folk night at Sufi Bookstore. Pink Floydfans are in for a treat, as the night sees two tribute nights for the British band;  Gravy Train cover some classics at ROOM Art Space, while Andromida head to the stage at El SawyCulturewheel.

When the night grows older, DJ Akladios takes to the decks for a round of house tunes at The Tap East, Ramsi Lehner spins some retro-electronic beats at The Tap Maadi, while DJs Feedo and Hany Hassanshare the duties at The Tap West for an R&B and hip-hop night.

Speaking of this genre, DJs A.K, Bakir, and Mobbzwill be spinning the decks for a round of tunes at Cairo Jazz Club 610, while Cairo Jazz Club’s house music night sees DJ Hisham Zahran taking to the decks, along with Hassan AbouAlam , and Aly Goede.

Saturday sees MasarEgbari celebrating their new album, El Album, at El SawyCulturewheel, Sada That playing various Arabic indie tunes at ROOM Art Space, and Basata taking to the stage at Cairo Jazz Club for a round of contemporary Arabic tunes.

The night comes to an end when Nour Project takes to the stage at The Tap East for a round of numbers from their new release,Awel Album, Spade of Hearts play some jazz tunes at The Tap West, while The Tap Maadi hosts a special Red Hot Chili Pepperstribute night, courtesy of The Family.
