The job hunt is one of the most daunting parts of living in Egypt, particularly because it comes after a flawed education system that does little to prepare you for what lies ahead. Many find themselves unable to use the skills they learned at school, while others find that there weren’t, in fact, any skills learned at school.

The French Chamber of Commerce in Egypt (CCFE) has been challenging this dilemma for years. Now, with their 14th Annual Employment Fair, bringing together some of the brightest and most able minded individuals together with the biggest corporations and conglomerates.

Established in 1992 with the purpose of promoting trade development and establishing strong economic ties between Egypt and France, The French Chamber of Commerce in Egypt is an Egyptian non-profit organization whose recruitment services you can count on.

The fair is not just meant to act as a middle-man between employers and job seekers, but to show job seekers ways into career paths they would’ve otherwise thought impossible. For the employers, it gives them access to a large pool of able, competent and skilled job seekers.

This year’s Employment Fair takes place at the luxurious Cairo Conrad Hotel on April 25th between 11AM and 7PM and then again in Alexandria on May 2nd at the Hilton Green Plaza Hotel also between 11AM and 7PM.

Recruiters from last year were varied and operated in numerous fields. They included enormous names like NSGB, Orascom, Credit Agricole, Total, Schneider and Unilever. Needless to say, this year’s fair is shaping up to be bigger than ever.

For businessmen and clients who are interested, CCFE provide top quality services like market information, organizing commercial and economical conferences and seminars, and helping accessing the Egyptian and French markets.

The newly established recruitment department is connecting job seekers with members looking to hire French speakers or other candidates with regular job listings being posted on their website.
