After sliding on the icy stages of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and the United Arab Emirates, Egypt is the final destination for Disney on Ice’s shows in the Middle East. This comeback will be the introduction of a new type of entertainment activity for Egyptian families. Giving the audience an ambience of enthusiasm and vitality, the shows are entertaining for all ages.

It was announced in a conference attended by the Regional Vice President for Feld Entertainment in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Stephen Armstrong, and Chairman and CEO of the Organizing Company in Egypt, Mohammed Amer, that the 19 shows will take place in the Stadium Hall of the Cairo International Stadium. It will run from December 21st to the 31st. The mega-event is organised by Feld Entertainment in cooperation with Dino Activations, under the patronage of Ahmed Issa, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, and represented by the Egyptian Tourism Authority.

The show’s global prices are around $18; however, it’s been subsidised in Egypt, so the starting cost will be EGP 120 (around $7 only). The tickets are categorised into 13 different classes, with the price going up to EGP 2100 for the most exclusive VIP spots. This gives accessibility for everyone to grab a seat with competitive pricing.

The shows will bring back an array of the most adored Disney characters, both old and new, including Mickey, Donald, and Goofy, as well as members of Finding Nemo, Inside Out, Toy Story, Tangled, Aladdin, and Moana. So, for the first time since 2014, Disney on Ice will grant new generations the chance to experience Disney’s magic for themselves!

Hosting the international Disney phenomenon in Egypt is not just for pure entertainment. It’s a message directed at the world about showcasing our ability to organise global events. Also, it sheds light on the locals and the power we hold when the public, private, and governmental sectors work hand-in-hand!
