November 2019 saw the launch of Egypt’s very first Media Technology Exhibition, which took place at Egypt International Exhibition Centre and lasted until the 8^th.

Created under the patronage of Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, and with the support of the renowned National Association of Broadcasters’ international media event, the NAB Show; the showgatheredvarious local and international key players from the field, to meet and discuss the industry’s latest updates, future, and challenges.

Covering various sectors of the field, like broadcasting, sound and light, film and video, AV integration, digital media & advertising, and even music production; EG Media Tech attracted numerous artists, animators, content creators, filmmakers, TV producers, in addition to various representatives from Egyptian state and privately-owned media companies.

 EG Media Tech show also hosted a special educational programme, which included a round of free sessions, discussing various topics; from cinematography, lighting and audio techniques, digital media and the future of advertising, and post-production, to audio setups, and broadcasting.

The attendants were also given a free pass to the 2020 NAB Show, which is set to take place at the Las Vegas Convention Center next April, from the 18^th to the 22^nd.

Egypt has always been a regional pioneer in the industry, so it was high time an exhibition like EG Media Tech found its way the city.
