With the growing fear of the Coronavirus pandemic, Egypt is making efforts towards restricting its swift spread. During a press conference, Egyptian Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly, announced that all flights from Egyptian airports will be suspended from the 19^th to the 31^st of March. Also, all hotels will undergo a disinfection and sterilisation process, in order to restrict the transmission of the disease.

According to Egypt Today, Madbouly said that tourism and aviation sectors’ losses could amount to 2.25LE billion; however, Egypt’s health is what is valued most. Recently, schools and universities, along with numerous restaurants and bars, have suspended their services for the next two weeks.
