With all the kinks, snags, and obstacles that come with driving around a city as busy as Cairo, services that offer driving tips and roadside assistance are much needed. Indeed, these hassles and obstacles are not only limited to Cairo but also extend to the entirety of Egypt. Consider, for example, your car breaking down while on a road trip, or having to face a flat tire on a highway in the middle of the night. As such, a group of fresh entrepreneurs have developed the application “EnQAZ”. Literally translating to “rescue”; this app is there for you when your car suddenly breaks down.

The application provides its users with three primary services: car battery recharge, tire change, and the ability to order a tow truck. They also offer tips and tricks through their Facebook page. The tips take as their main subject 101 traffic safety rules, how to best avoid accidents, and how to prevent sudden vehicle breakdowns.

Executive Manager Mohamed Khorayem stated that he was driven to develop and launch this app to fill a gap in roadside assistance services; Khorayem cited the various complaints that Egyptians have regarding the current hole in the provision of these services. Khorayem went on to discuss the absence of trust, reliance, and safety that Egyptians experience when it comes to the simplest of tasks, like ordering tow trucks.

The application has a fixed pricing system, together with the possibility of requesting services without having an internet connection. Until now, EnQAZ is only operating in Cairo and Giza; however, the developers are currently working on a plan to cover the entirety of Egypt.

EnQAZ is available for both Android and iOS users. In case you need further information, don’t hesitate to visit their Facebook page.
