Combining the grandeur of five-star hotel with the subtle comforts of a boutique inn, Kempinski Nile Hotel isn’t like any of the hotels in the city. With world-class dining options (one certain Turkish restaurant in particular springs to mind) and a more refined approach to entertainment, you needn’t look further than the Garden City Hotel this New Year’s Eve.

With the Kempinski’s top venues set to usher in 2017 with their own celebrations, the only thing you have to worry about is choosing just the one…

The Blue Restaurant & Grill

With a lavish buffet covering foods from all across the world, if a gourmand’s evening is what you seek, The Blue Restaurant is your answer. In addition to the abundant spread of food, guests will also be able to indulge in some live entertainment in the form of belly-dancer, Nany, and a live classical music performance courtesy of cellist, Ahmed Fikry. At 350LE+++ per person (175LE+++ for kids 6-12, while children under 6 are complimentary), it’s also one of the best-priced options, with guests also getting mineral water and a selection of soft drinks.

Osmanly

Cairo’s best Turkish restaurant well also be graced by performances from Nany and Ahmed Fikry, but the dining set-up is markedly different. For 600LE+++ (300LE+++ for kids 6-12, while children under 6 are complimentary), guests will feast on a spectacular six-course menu, alongside mineral water, selection of soft drinks. The award-winning restaurant is by far the most superior of its kind across all of the capital – if that’s not reason enough, we don’t know what is.

Floor 10 & Jazz Bar

For something decidedly more upbeat (because what better time to let loose than New Year’s Eve?), Floor 10 and Jazz Bar have a big night lined-up. The entertainment line-up features belly-dancer, Nany, once more, but also a performance from Andrew the electric violinist and DJ Garo, while food comes in the form of the Kempinski’s outstanding hot and cold canapés, as well as its highly-rated sushi and a glass of sparkling wine and can also enjoy free corkage. In addition, there will be a raffle draw that will award the winner a free stay at sister properties, Royal Maxim Palace Kempinski and Kempinski Soma Bay.

The cherry on top? All guests can get a 20% of Ruinart Champagne, because, well Happy New Year!
