Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza Introduces Newly Renovated and Designed Premium Rooms and Suites Inspired by The Beauty of The River and Culture of the City

In the heart of Cairo, Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza features newly renovated guest rooms and suites with magnificent views of the Nile and the city skyline. With its central location in Garden City, it is ideal for exploring Cairo’s many historical and cultural attractions. It’s also within walking distance of several embassies and business districts, making it a popular choice for corporate travellers. The landmark waterfront property debuts the newly renovated and designed premium guest rooms and suites on the 25th, 26th and soon-to-launch 27th floor.

The hotel’s renovation was fashioned by renowned French interior designer Pierre-Yves Rochon, who focuses on keeping the originality of the space while elevating comfort to ensure a remarkable Four Seasons experience.

To stay true to the Four Seasons’ spirit of being a second home for guests, the renovations are focused on strengthening the residential feel of rooms and suites with extreme comfort. Rochon is inspired by the beauty of the Nile River, located directly in front of the property, and uses natural elements on walls, ceilings, and doorframes. The palette is built on amplifying nature with floor-to-ceiling windows, brightening visuals, and textural details created by local artists and artisans. The aim is to draw attention to the main view, the Nile, with its gliding felucca boats, although you can also spot the 12th-century Salah-El-Din citadel and the Cairo tower.

Located from the 25th to the 27th floor, the renovated guest rooms and suites contain signature Four Seasons bedding, cushioned chairs, sofas, and lounges with complimenting colours. When you walk in, you already feel at home. You’re even offered a multifunctional table for dining or working and walk-in closets in every suite. The rooms are decorated with local arts and crafts in true Four Seasons fashion. The original pieces by local artists include works of poetry, framed abstracts, landscapes, and scenes of an Egyptian flavour that reveal the integration of the property into the cultural landscape of Cairo. The bookcase housing the flat screen TV also contains many renowned books such as Silent Images: Women in Pharaonic Egypt by Zahi Hawass, The Treasures of the Valley of the Kings: Tombs and Temples of the Theban West Bank in Luxor by Kent Weeks and Araldo De Luca, and Nubian Gold: Ancient Jewellery from Sudan and Egypt by Peter Lacovara and Yvonne J. Markowitz, to name just a few.

Rochon works with Paris-based design studio PRV. He has dedicated the past few years to elevating Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts around the world and was in charge of uplifting the Cairo property. His latest designs can be seen on the building with his redesign for La Galerie Lounge, a new design and opening for Byblos Restaurant serving authentic Lebanese cuisine, Riviera Restaurant for Italian coastal cuisine, a re-envisioning of the pool deck area, and upcoming future projects. His redesign journey will continue for a year until all 365 keys open the door to an inviting new space for guests.
