The countdown has begun for the grand opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum 2025, one of the most significant cultural projects in the world. The Egyptian government is preparing to open it by the end of this year in a global celebration befitting the grandeur of ancient Egyptian civilisation.
As the big day approaches, public interest has surged regarding ticket prices, visiting hours, and online booking, especially since the museum will house rare artefacts and iconic treasures, including the complete collection of King Tutankhamun and the Khufu Solar Boats.

According to official plans, the global opening ceremony is scheduled to take place on November 1, 2025. It will last for three consecutive days, attended by leaders and presidents from around the world. After that, the museum will officially open its doors to the public on November 4, 2025.
Prime Minister directives have emphasised that all ministries must finalise preparations inside and around the museum to ensure that the ceremony reflects Egypt’s cultural prestige and international standing.
