On the 20th of March, a significant milestone was celebrated as JRNY unveiled its rebrand from ElRehla to JRNY during an Exclusive Ecosystem Ramadan Suhour. The event, hosted at the historic Creative Innovation Hub in Dokki and in collaboration with Itida and Tiec, drew over 400 distinguished guests from various sectors, including fintech, employment, entrepreneurship, green and sustainability, and scaleup founders and supporting organisations.

Among the attendees were industry pioneers such asMoIC, MoHE, CBE, FRA, MCIT, MSMEDA, Banque Misr, Shorooq Capital, Egypt Post, 500 Global, Sodic, EFG Holding, GIZ, ILO, OECD, UN women, Pathfinder International, Kijamii, Plug and Play, Wuzzuf, Goodsmart, Vezeeta, Sympl, among many others.

The evening began with the unveiling of JRNY’s new logo. This rebranding represented a pivot towards emphasising the word “journey,” abbreviated to “JRNY,” with a dash beside the “Y”, symbolising interconnectedness. This shift signifies a renewed dedication to constructing collaborative communities for mutual benefit and collective action.

Reflecting on JRNY’s decade-long journey, CEO Dalia Said recounted milestones encompassing over 170 projects, social labs, business retreats, events, and reports tailored to serve 70 distinct clients. The organisation’s mission centres on creating platforms that foster meaningful dialogues and connections, facilitate peer learning experiences, and guide policies through its three primary services, Industry Track, Corporate Track, and Founders Track, towards sustainable impact.

The event also honoured the women of JRNY: Head of Operations Sara Ibrahim, Head of Programs and Partnerships Nadine Abukhadra, and Head of People and Culture Amal Negm, alongside the entire team, founders, facilitators, partners, and advocates.
