Speaking of brilliant Egyptian, today we’re here to tell you all about Dr. Mohamed Mahmoud Ibrahim, Scientist and Professor at The Faculty of Engineering at Fayoum University. Apart from his role as a Senior Engineer at the Architectonic Design Center- Hitachi Japan, he’s recently become the very first Egyptian to ever design an educational computer from scratch! This educational computer is 100 % made, designed, and produced in Egypt.
During an interview with Shorouk News, Dr. Mohamed stated that his idea came to him during the Egypt Can Conference back in 2018, where millions of thoughts and notions about the devise came to him. Adding to this, Dr. Mohamed insisted that this product shall open the door to all young pioneers in different fields, and inspire them to work on developing and creating parts of computers that are typically sourced from other countries.
Over the past decade, we have been witnessing a revolution in the tech. industry, and we’re proud to see that Egypt may finally have a leading role in this industry.
