The Definitive Guide to Living in the Capital , Cairo , Egypt

So, here’s the scene: dressed in black,  superstar actors Asser Yasin and Yasmine Sabry walk down a dusky Egyptian street – where are they going? No one knows. But they find a hidden door – a door that opens what looks like a secret underground lair, where Maged El Kedwany – wearing a rather fabulous long, black, leather coat – waits for them, surveying several computer monitors as he does so.

Sounds like the opening seconds of Egypt’s next big spy thriller, right? That’s as good a guess as we’ve found to a mystery trailer that’s doing the rounds on social media.

With Yasin, Sabry and El Kedwany starring, Egypt is stroking its chin in intrigue as to what this could possibly mean – is it indeed a spy film? Maybe it’s an ad for a new leather brand? No, that’s silly.

Whatever the case, speculations is rife on what brought three of the most popular working actors in Egypt right now together. Either way, it promises to be big. Stay tuned…
