New Cairo’s Royal Maxim Palace Kempinski has managed to become one of the city’s favourite destinations with its quality service, luxurious facilities, and upscale culinary outlets. This year, Royal Maxim Palace Kempinski is set to see more successful ventures, under the leadership of hospitality expert Sébastien Mariette, who has been appointed as the hotel’s New General Manager and Area General Manager Egypt.

For a man that has been in the field since 2007, Mariette’s main target is to improve guest experience while maintaining an efficient healthy work environment. Mariette started his journey as Kempinski Hotel Grand Hermitage’s Resident Manager in Bulgaria, before moving to China, where he opened and became the General Manager of several Kempinski Hotels.

Not a stranger to the region, Mariette has played several roles at various Kempinski Hotels across the Middle East; Cluster General Manager for Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea and Kempinski Hotel Aqaba in Jordan, and Managing Director at Emerald Palace Kempinski & Kempinski Residences Palm Jumeirah in the United Arab Emirates.

It’s also worth mentioning that Mariette holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from IMHI – International Hospitality Management Institute – a joint venture between Cornell University and ESSEC Business School in France. Having a General Manager with such a long list of achievements, Royal Maxim Palace Kempinski, no doubt, is in safe hands.
