One of Canada’s top universities, Ryerson University, is hosting an Innovation Bootcamp from the 14th to the 16th of June, exposing students at the Ryerson University’s campus in Cairo to top representatives in the media and fashion industries. As one of Canada’s most prestigious universities, Ryerson focuses on inclusive, hands-on education, helping its students around the world to gain exposure to various aspects within their fields.

Ryerson is known for being widely inclusive and diverse, connecting individuals from various locations worldwide. Its aims lie in helping its students become well-rounded individuals by delivering top-notch education from industry leaders and combining classroom learning with real-world experiences. Home to over 46,000 students, Ryerson births some of Canada’s most employable graduates.

Located in Toronto, Ryerson is Canada’s leading university in media, design, and creative education. The University’s Faculty of Communication and Design (FCAD), which is responsible for the upcoming bootcamp, is a forerunner in testing inventive methods and finding various innovative ways to conduct creative activities. A global education centre for media and creative innovations, Ryerson’s FCAD is where students can learn to understand and implement creative ideas within their respective fields.

The Innovation Bootcamp, hosted by the Universities of Canada in Egypt, will bring together leading figures from the media and fashion industries to discuss their journeys, careers, and challenges when working in various fields. They will also talk about the importance of gaining education and knowledge in media and fashion, allowing students to understand future career opportunities within these fields better. Students can choose to attend the event either on campus or virtually, considering the event is a hybrid, hosting both virtual and physical attendees and speakers.

Through this Bootcamp, students can get the chance to gain hands-on experience and get a glimpse of what studying at Ryerson University is like. They will learn about the various industries, uncover opportunities, and find the truth behind their passions media, design innovation and entrepreneurship experts from Toronto, Canada.
