We’ve published several articles about local brands offering DIY Kits for all age groups, as well as a round of toy shops that will deliver all the card games you need to get through the long hours of quarantine.
If you’re sick and tired of the same old games, here comes an Egyptian card game that will be great fun, and give you some quality time with your family and friends. Yes, you read it right; The Bonfire Experience started as a project by Nour Hassan, whose primary goal is to help people form a deeper connection with one another. And what’s better than a question to start a conversation?
If you are wondering where the name comes from, it’s derived from the concept that storytelling, random conversations, and even singing, usually happen at a bonfire gathering.
The game is a collection of questions that vary between the lighthearted and fun, and more probing ones that will have you pondering. There are five ways to play the game, which you can check out in the post below.

Our two personal favourites are the In Your Shoes mode, where different players answer on your behalf; it shows how others perceive you – which will always elicit a surprising revelation or two. The other is the Journaling mode, in which you can pick any of the more profound questions, and let it serve as a self-exploration writing prompt for your journal – if you are into keeping one, like ourselves.
The best thing about the game is that there’s no winning here; all you need is to open up and see where the game takes you. And before you ask, the game costs 200LE, and you can order it by sending a DM on The Bonfire Experience Instagram account.
