In recent years, the rise of entrepreneurship in Egypt has helped create a lot of job opportunities and aid the economy, but social projects and initiatives have done even more to help better our community. Today we’re talking about The Doodle Factory, and how their simple idea promises to help many underprivileged children.

The idea of The Doodle Factory is to incorporate underprivileged children in the project and help them help themselves. They encourage young children to doodle and draw as they wish, then they take these drawings and use them in lifestyle products that many customers can then buy. The Egyptian brand uses the money from selling such products to fund the medical, educational, and other needs of those young artists. Their products include beautifully colourful laptop sleeves, notebooks, beach towels, table coasters, and more. Check out their products on their Facebook Page here.

This Saturday, The Doodle Factory have collaborated with 18.213 to bring to you “Do It From The Heart”. 18.213 is a Pop-Up platform – founded in 2016- that encourages businesses to share their ideas through a story told from a unique perspective, in a way that connects customers to an emotional and memorable experience.

On the fifth of May, this is exactly what 18.213 will be doing with The Doodle Factory. Two young heroes, 10-year old Aliaa, and 12-year old Mohamed, decided to let their art fight for them so they could get a chance to fund the open heart surgeries they need. Through their drawings, The Doodle Factory will launch the new SS’ 18 Collection, “A Tickers Beat”, which aims to help children have happy and healthy hearts.
