In the midst of persistent challenges and enduring resistance, the people of Palestine continue to display remarkable resilience and an unwavering spirit. Across the border in Egypt, we are witnessing these struggles and are searching for ways to make a difference. Whether it’s through financial contributions, donating essential supplies, or advocating for Palestinian liberation, there are various avenues through which you can extend a helping hand to our Palestinian neighbours.

The Egyptian Red Crescent

The Egyptian Red Crescent is currently accepting donations for humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip through a variety of means. These options include online contributions via the organisation’s website, contacting a representative at 15322 by providing your name, address, mobile number, and donation amount. You can also send a 5 EGP text message with the word “Palestine” to 9770.

You can make instant donations through any Fawry machine using code 99981. Or, you can make bank transfers to specified accounts, including Cairo Bank (Account No. 8384/501/30- IBAN: EG440004103000000305010008384), CIB (Account No. 100035211157- Marketing Code: 911111), Arab African International Bank (Account No. 702 379-3910-001), and SAIB Bank’s Maadi branch (Account No. 2820302932110010).

The Egyptian Clothing Bank

In partnership with the Council of Egyptian Tribes and Families, the Egyptian Clothing Bank has initiated relief missions to extend a helping hand to the people of Gaza. They are welcoming contributions to dispatch humanitarian assistance to our neighbours in the strip. You have the option to make a donation by reaching out to the team at 17014, or by transferring funds to their designated bank account, 555777. Moreover, they offer convenient channels such as InstaPay, Fawry outlets, and Vodafone Cash for your contributions.

Additionally, if you happen to attend the Downtown Contemporary Arts Festival (D-CAF) until November 5, you will find them there, along with Mersal Foundation, where you can also participate in donating to support Gaza during the festival.

The Egyptian Food Bank

The Egyptian Food Bank has launched an urgent humanitarian relief campaign to assist the families in Gaza by providing them with essential food supplies. A food box to support a family of five for two weeks is priced at 400 Egyptian pounds, or you can choose to donate any desired amount.

To contribute your Zakat and charity for the support of the affected families, you can call 16060 for home collection or deposit into a unified bank account with the number 888777 across all banks.

Donations can also be made from outside Egypt using the available bank transfer codes for each bank through their website. Additional donation avenues include popular services like Fawry, Masary, Aman, SADAD, and more. Moreover, there are numerous locations around Cairo and one in Alexandria for your convenience. Your contribution will make a significant impact in providing essential sustenance to those in need in Gaza.
