Yes! Break that glass ceiling! Forbes recently released a list of the Most Influential Women in the Middle East, and it features 17 Egyptian women! It’s an achievement enough just to even make it onto a Forbes list, but even more so when one has to overcome the struggles associated with working in a male-dominated field. These women are paving the way for young Egyptian girls who dream of being successful in a man’s world and they should be celebrated for their accomplishments. We plan to do just that by providing you with this list of all these fierce ladies:

    16. Rana Awadi, Managing Director of Acumen Asset Management

    17. Soha El Turky, CFO of Banque du Caire

Wait, that’s not all. Two more Egyptian women made it onto the Forbes Top Ten Women Heading Government Departments 2018 list! They are:

    18. Lobna Helal, Deputy Governor, Central Bank of Egypt

19, Nevein Gamea, CEO, The Micro, Small & Medium Enterprise Development Agency ‘MSME’

We are so extremely proud of these women and their hard work! This is only another step in the right direction for women’s full inclusion in the workforce and the political world.
