Movie Night: Ahl El Fan by Qahrawya

Experience the screening of Our Divas by “Ahl El Fan,” a 44-minute experimental folk music short film directed by Tamer Eissa. The film takes you on a journey to the golden age of Egyptian music and films, showcasing memorable artworks in collaboration with the renowned El Warsha Theatre Troupe. Following the screening, join a Q&A session with Hassan El Geretly, founder of the Warsha Theatre Troupe, and moderated by Mariam El Zomor. The event takes place at Qahrawya Studio on January 11th. The registration fee of 50 LE includes drinks. English subtitles are provided in the film, but note that the Q&A will be in Arabic.

Once again, Cairo Jazz Club hosts a tribute night at CJC Agouza, where Seattle will pay homage to Grunge icons.
