Cinematology, a Facebook page devoted to Egyptian cinema, released a video showcasing Women in Egyptian Cinema & TV. It showed the struggles, the heroism, and the victories of some of the best female characters in Egypt’s films and TV Shows. Take a look for yourself.

We love how the video took us through the ages, depicting the different views of women, at the same time showing the negatives and the positives. The powerful images resonated even stronger, with perfectly written lines that remain iconic in Egyptian, and perhaps Arab, cinema.
