7 Places to Play Padel in Cairo

By now, everyone has heard of padel. The famous mix of tennis and squash is one of those activities that has attracted many people to start playing sports without feeling the need to go regularly, whether to stay fit from time to time or for a fun time with friends. However, many people don’t know where the best places are, as padel has become so ubiquitous in Cairo, with many established academies opening branches all around the city. So, here are seven places to go and enjoy a round of padel with your friends!

UPadel, Heliopolis

UPadel is a fantastic place to begin training. For those living in Heliopolis and Nasr City, finding nearby places with padel courts can be challenging. Luckily, UPadel, located on Nozha Street, offers not only excellent facilities but also a prime location. Right at the crossroad between Nasr City and Heliopolis, it’s easy to access regardless of which of the two neighbourhoods you live in.

SR Padel, Club 7, Maadi

Quite a few places are available for padel in Maadi, but none are as good as SR Padel. Formerly known as Padel Pod, they offer outstanding facilities and branches throughout the city.

Go! Padel, Shooting Club, Dokki

Ideal for those living around Downtown Cairo, Go! Padel Club is an African Padel Champion with branches all around Cairo. If you’re still hesitant about whether this is the place for you, you should consider that Mo Salah, the king himself, was spotted in one of their centres.

Padel House, Beverly Hills, 6th October City

Yet another fantastic place to take your friends and enjoy a round of padel, Padel House Egypt is excellent as it boasts fantastic facilities and hosts tournaments from time to time. So whether you plan on taking it to the next level or just having a fun day, it’s absolutely perfect.

JPadel, Swan Lake, New Cairo

For those living in New Cairo, it can be overwhelming. It seems like almost every corner of the area has a padel court, so we’re left wondering where the best place is. JPadel is a great option, located in Swan Lake compound. Luckily, it’s open to everyone!

Padel One, Mokattam and Sheikh Zayed

Located in The Orb Mall, Padel One is a fantastic place to go for a round of padel, and not just for those living in Mokattam. Located only ten minutes from Nasr City and New Cairo, its location is very strategic. While the site is fantastic, it’s also important to note how good their facilities are, as well as the fact that, like some other centres, Padel One often hosts tournaments as well. They also have a branch in Sheikh Zayed’s Al Karma Club.
