April has certainly been quite the month for fitness fanatics. With three events, the Mefitpro Egypt Summit, Rise of HERS, and the Balance Pro competition in the past week alone, who knows what surprises are in store next month?! If you’re worried about April’s events running out, then have no fear. According to CairoGyms.com, there are still 2 more happenings to look forward to! Let’s take a look.

Firstly, are you a woman who likes sporting attire of amazing quality? Better yet, are you a woman who enjoys having fun?! Then, this event is for you! On the 18^th of April, Virgin Megastore at Cairo Festival City is hosting the launch for the SPARK high-performance sportswear line from 7:30-9:30 pm. Spark’s description on Facebook reads, “Engineered in Germany. Made in Egypt. Developed by athletes for athletes.” 

Blogger Hossam Heikal, musician May Abd El Aziz, and Zumba instructor Sally Salama are just a few of the names expected to attend. If you’re checking your calendar now, you’ll have probably figured out that the 18^th is tomorrow, so there’s not a moment to lose! Clear up your schedule, invite a friend, and check out the highly anticipated launching in less than 30 hours. 

The second item on the docket is Power Ride’s Galala Challenge II, the second of its kind after last year’s first challenge on the 28^th of December. This year’s event is also hosted by Power Ride Sports, a unique indoor training experience along with specialised fitness sessions and triathlon training programs. Their headquarters is located in the heart of Maadi, which offers you the opportunity to develop your cycling skills using the most technologically advanced indoor bikes, as written in their “About” section on social media.

This time, Power Ride has taken Galala Challenge II to a whole new level of 145 km all the way to Sokhna’s coastal road. The ride will take place on Friday, the 19^th of April, from Cairo to Galala and it is split into 3 distances, with a range between 100-145 km. The price is 450 LE that includes support cars, bike support, transportation back to Cairo for cyclists and their bikes, nutrition along the way, and of course the finisher medal.        

Seats are limited so be sure to register as soon as possible through this link, before the 31^st of March. The organisers remind any participants that this is a challenge and you need to have the fitness requirements to join.
