    The Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at The First Residence was on a mission to change their guests’ lives in just one day. They celebrated the 11th annual Global Wellness Day with a relaxing programme centred around yoga and meditation, where guests learned to embrace healthy living under the dazzling Egyptian skyline.  

    Global Wellness Day is dedicated to achieving the best possible version of yourself through intuitive eating, connecting with nature, and physical activity. This year’s theme, #ThinkMagenta, was adopted by the dedicated team at Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at the First Residence to encourage guests to stop, take a deep breath, and smile. 

    The hotel carefully organised a programme packed with activities to help boost the mood and introduce mindful habits that will last all year long. 

    Rise and shine! The day started bright and early at 8:30 AM with pre-yoga stretches by the pool. What better way is there to get your blood flowing than with a gentle warm-up under the morning sun? 

    At 8:45 AM, guests were greeted by renowned yoga instructor Meghan Sullivan, who led them through a session aimed at building strength, improving mobility, and increasing blood flow. With calming breathing exercises and slow movements, guests could feel the negative energy draining out of them. 

    Afterwards, guests moved into a 15-minute serene meditation session. Meditation is a vital element in achieving wellness as it helps you understand and connect with the sacred and mystical forces of life. 

    Once they were left in a state of total mental relaxation, guests were invited to rejuvenate with a dip in the jacuzzi and sauna to ease their tension and alleviate their muscle pain. 

    At 10:30 AM, the wellness journey began to wind down with a detox session in the fresh air. The Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at The First Residence Wellness couldn’t let their guests go home hungry, so they set out a delicious spread of nutritious breakfast. Detox beverages and fresh juices helped refresh guests while they filled up on yoghurt, granola, and freshly sliced fruits.
