Picture this: the sun crouching on the horizon, the rays break and bend at the mountain’s peak, the sea shimmers bright blue, and the salty breeze lingers on your face. This, alone, has the power to cleanse anyone of anything, yet, it’s not the only thing offered here. Among the best of what nature has to offer, Osana Family Wellness is running a three-day programme for your mind, body, and soul! Solasi is a wellbeing festival organised by Yes Yoga and Osana Family Wellness between the mountains and the sea in the Sinai resort town of Taba Heights. The wellbeing festival is a balance of meditation and energy, tranquillity and music, and holistic therapies and play.

It consists of yoga with a sunrise view, healing through sounds, morning runs on the shore by the mountain, and meditation. But that’s not all! There’s also the ancient Chinese graceful exercise, Tai Chi, and other healing treatments. The fun doesn’t stop there; funky classes, enlightening workshops, kids treasure hunts, and plenty of dancing are also on the list. There’s also locally sourced food whenever it’s time to eat. In the end, not a single aspect of the soul or the body will be neglected.

The best part is that it’s the weekend right before Ramadan. So a small break from the city that doesn’t get a wink of sleep in Ramadan will be a time of tranquillity, connection, and togetherness to prepare your mind and body for the month ahead! You’ll rejuvenate your soul with the help of their professional yoga teachers, Mariam Azmi, Meghan Sullivan, Noelle Nafache, and Omniya Baghdadi, among others. Your body won’t be left out either! With the help of movement instructors like Katie Holland, Suzy Kussner, DJ Frogmoose, and Acro Egypt, all equilibrium will be achieved!

When the turn comes for your peace of mind, Marcus Blacker’s breathing exercises, Nadiya Tsebro’s meditation, and Katie Holland’s energy work, among others, will help achieve the desired results.

The festival at Taba Heights will take place from March 31st to April 2nd. For more information about the retreat and where to book, visit the link here.
