There are no battles to be won, no warfare to be waged, or arrogance to feed. A sense of profound relaxation takes over when you’re in the water. It is an excellent opportunity to experience a type of happiness that has no attached strings, as it is a happiness given by nature in its most refined form. Water, however, can also be incorporated in your workout routine

Speaking of this, Wave Egypt is an Aquatic fitness initiative that was founded back in July 2018 by Egyptian Olympian synchronised swimmers, Aya Nasr and Nour Al Afandi. The founders both have a long-standing experience in coaching swimming and fitness to different age groups. The core vision behind this water sport is focusing on strength, endurance, and balance, along with the benefit of burning fat, all while making a wave in an enjoyable ambience with some banging music tunes.

Wave Egypt has been giving out various sessions across the city since they’ve started. The workout is divided into two parts; it’s a mix of exercises on a surfboard and in the water. They used to operate during last summer in Al Karma Residence Club – Sheikh Zayed. They are currently operating in Shooting Club – Dokki, in the indoor pool area. The cost of a ten-session pass is 900 LE. In the near future, Wave is looking to operate from several other venues.

If you have any inquiries regarding the current sessions or the new venues, send them a DM on their Instagram account, or call them on 01023057273. For further information on their newest updates, check them out here
