While Cairo Jazz Club has made several bands, musicians and DJs over the years in acting as a platform for local talent, the enduring bar also likes to salute the many legends that continue to influence the music scene today. We’ve seen nights dedicated to everyone from Bob Dylan to B.B. King, but this time round it’s the legendary front-man of The Doors, Jim Morrison.

 

With some of the city’s top musicians taking part in the night on Thursday 21 September,  three of the country’s most talented performers are leading the charge; singer-songwriter and guitarist, Shady Ahmed, the popular HanyMust and the man some believe to be the best front-man around, George Aboutar.
