The concept of beauty pageants has grown in the past few years to encompass deeper understandings of beauty, that which involves wit, intellect, humour, and culture, rather than just relying on bone structure, eye shape, hair colour, and stereotypical body images.
This year, Miss Egypt Universe 2018, is aiming to showcase this new approach. Like a lot of competitions, it has a theme song, and perhaps this is what mostly captures the essence of this new contest. Rula Zaki, the beautiful songstress, is the voice behind this song, a comprehensive masterpiece showcasing the stunning appeal of Egypt.
Produced by Event 4U, the music video was shot in the captivating lands of Luxor and Aswan. Haytham Nabil composed the song, and the music production came courtesy of Omar Ismail, while Zeinab Mubarak wrote the lyrics. Rula Zaki believes that this song and music video are a great testimonial to the beauty of Egypt, and can go a long way in promoting tourism in our country.
We love the colour scheme of the video, and how they incorporated the beautiful elements of Luxor and Aswan to complement the beauty of Egyptian women. Working together to send positive vibes all the way from the start of the video to the very end.
